Robert E. Stinnett

Robert E. Stinnett, 91, of Nederland, died Friday, September 22, 2017. He was born on June 13, 1926, in Burlington, Iowa, to Bertha Krogmeir Stinnett and William G. Stinnett. Robert enjoyed golf and traveling with their travel trailer.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen Hill and her husband, Steve, of Baytown and Paula Segrest and her husband, John, of Vidor; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, William Stinnett and his wife, Margaret, of Port Neches.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Jean Reeves; and sons, David and James Stinnett.

A gathering of Mr. Stinnett’s family and friends will be from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland. His interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial park, Groves.
