Robert M. Pulliam, Sr.

August 14, 1948 - January 28, 2017

Robert Martin Pulliam Sr. peacefully went home to be with his Lord surrounded by family on January 28, 2017. 

Mr. Pulliam was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a native of Baker.  He spent the last 43 years residing in Winnie, Texas with Brenda Arnold Pulliam (his wife of 50 years).  He spent a lengthy career in the Oil & Gas Industry and retired from BP Americas after a 37 year tenure.  He also served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal.   

He truly enjoyed fishing as his number one hobby, followed by hunting, traveling, and watching wildlife roam in the Texas Hill Country.  He was also an avid LSU Fan and enjoyed following and critiquing the Tigers very closely.   

Mr. Pulliam is survived by his wife Brenda Arnold Pulliam, his son Robert M. Pulliam Jr. of Houston, Texas, his daughter Kimberly Breaux and husband Brady Breaux of Katy, Texas, and five grandchildren: Ashlyn & Madison Pulliam of Katy, Texas, Tyler Breaux of College Station, Texas, Keely Breaux, and Kasie Pulliam.  He is preceded in death by his parents Clark and Bertha Pulliam of Baker, Louisiana, his son Michael Shane Pulliam of Hamshire, Texas, and his brother Clark Kelly Pulliam of Milldale, Louisiana.   

A gathering of Mr. Pulliam’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at Broussard’s 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Broussard’s Chapel, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
