Sara L. Rodriguez

Sara L. Rodriguez, 93, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on December 28, 1923, to Refugio Lopez Reyna and Eleuterio L. Lopez, in Sarita, Teas. Sara retired as a secretary for Brownsville ISD.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon L. Rodriguez, Sr.

Survivors include her son, Ramon L. Rodriguez and his wife, Leslie Saia, of Beaumont; grandson, Gabriel Lyon Rodriguez of Fort Worth; siblings Refugio “Cucita” Arias (Alfredo), Sylvia Connor (Jim), Dahlia Earl (Vincent), Mary Garcia (Joel), Delia Hernandez (Martin), Armando Lopez (Virignia), and Patsy Rangel (Juan), and innumerable beloved nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. Rodriguez’s family and friends will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Christian Vigil at 6:15 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
