Sherril Lynn Garvin

July 25, 1967 - January 30, 2019

Sherril Lynn Garvin, 51, of Winnie, died Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, Houston. She was born on July 25, 1967, in Winnie, to Sharon Hall Garvin and J.C. Garvin.

Survivors include her mother, Sharon Hall Garvin; uncle, Gary Hall and his wife, Darlene; aunts, Lucille Clubb and her husband, Tommy and Emily Fischer; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Garvin; and uncle, Thomas Hall.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Arboretum of Winnie staff and Sherril’s special angel friend, J. Storm Jannise. 

A gathering of Ms. Garvin’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 6977 Main Street, Houston, Texas 77030.
