Forever the wonderful smile and twinkle in her eyes! Forever and forever. Marvin, Johanna, Jennifer and Sarah, I am so sad that her light is gone. So many of our loved ones greeted her so her blessedness is with them and Him. God really graced our world and now Susan is at peace. What a dear, dear lady. My soul hurts in selfishness. My love, prayers and wish for her peace to envelop each of you. Susan will be well remembered.

Keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. What a special lady ! Your mom made every room she entered a happier place. Will always remember fondly her positive outlook and contagious laugh. May precious memories and God’s presence comfort you in the days ahead. Love from the Moores and Hamiltons.

That is where our friendship began, not only with Susan and Marvin, but her parents in Nome. Over the years, Jack and I have enjoyed Susan's friendship and friendship with her children, extending to Summer memories at Camp Waldemar where she assisted Marsha Elmore in the Summer. Thankfully, our Granddaughters were there to spend time with Susan for seven years. Also, I need to remember Susan's unbelievable cancer fight for many years, as a champion at MDAnderson. In Jack's opinion and in mine, Susan had to have broken all of the records in recovery in every scientific study! Susan was amazing in her resolve to fight, even with a smile on her face! What a gal. Jack and I will never ever forget our connections with Susan and her family, all sweet and amazing. Love them all!

Just to add that friendship with Susan began in Beaumont of 1964 as soon as we moved to Beaumont. Susan and Marvin came to greet and welcome us to Beaumont. The rest is history.

It is a sad time for all who knew Susan!  Her kind winning smile brought smiles to all who knew her.  What a wonderful thoughtful!  Susan fought a long and hard battle with grace and dignity.  She never felt sorry for herself.  Every time I saw her she inquired about my family and me.  Marvin, Johanna, Jennifer and Sarah, God and your precious memories will get you through your rough days. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Susan will be missed by so many..

Susan was kind enough to host my welcome to Beaumont party in 1970. She and her family were a part of our lives all the years we spent there. Bill and I wish to send our condolences to the family and express our admiration for a delightful, brave woman we were glad to know.
