The blessing Father God has given us in life is that those we Love remain with us after passing in the form of so many happy memories, pictures, and familiar things... But the blessed assurance of our Lord Jesus is that we will be reunited after a short parting to even greater memories, glorious work, and a more perfect life where there is no parting forever! Blessings to you and your family, and all the comfort of the Holy Spirit who treasures you, in Jesus's name!

What an absolutely amazing man married to an amazing woman. He stood by her through all her “crazy cat lady” fun! I also have someone that loves me in spite of my crazy cat lady ways and these people are one in a million. Every time I saw Tommy, it made me happy to see the devotion he had for his longtime love, Valerie. This news has broken so many hearts and we know that we must be there for his widow now because while I may not have known him very well, I did spend small amounts of time around him and it was always clear that he was there for Valerie. He was in it for the long haul; he wanted to live for her and make their life together as beautiful as it could be. I hate that his life has been cut short after these last few horrific years. It’s such a tragic loss and one I feel could’ve been prolonged had so many natural disasters not ransacked our tiny little area. Tommy was a good man and he leaves behind a good wife. The two of you did good and you taught others in the world to also do good. I am immensely proud to have known Tommy through Valerie. Both have such beautiful hearts. ❤️

Dear Valerie and precious family: I am praying that Jesus holds you all in His Mighty Arms and gives you His Peace as you travel through this "valley" of grief for Tommy. Words fail to express my heart's sympathy for you all.

A big loss to the community and people around him I first met Tommy when I was 11yrs old and he became another big bother for a lifetime and always greeted anyone he met with a smile and a hand shake.. He became my sisters guardian angel when they married. Tommy took care of my sister through thick and thin. He stuck by her side a lifetime and leaves a void. I believe no one could do for her as he did. for all these years. The gentle soul who would never do harm to any creature. I will truly miss Tommy

I knew Tommy From the time he was 5 years old as his brother, Otho, and I we try e best friends all through school and through our life. Tommy was a fine man. He went fishing with us and we played football and baseball together. I know he loved his parents and his brothers, and he loved the Lord too. I am so sorry to hear that he has passed away but I know he is with Jesus now..

Chip and I were with Valerie and their son Shannon when Tommy left this earth. Our hearts are broken. Tommy was always a man who gave his time, love, friendship, and help to anyone who asked or was in need.. Even as Tom and Val lost everything to the flooding of Harvey, Tommy was still offering his help to others. His absence will be felt by everyone who knew him. Hugs of love to my wonderful sister Valerie, Shannon, Misty, and Lane.

I already miss you and I truly feel you were taken away from us too soon. I can honestly say that I have not met another man that gave as much of himself as Tom did throughout his years. I've learned so much from him in regards to what is most important in life and how to be a good man. I learned that hard work comes with great rewards and that every problem has a solution. I can never fill your shoes, but I hope to be just as selfless and helpful as you were in life. I can only hope that he understood how much he meant to me and how much he was loved as I did not get to say goodbye. Be restful and may God give you peace.
