Yvonne “Mimi” Kattawar

Yvonne Parish Kattawar “Mimi”, 95, of Sour Lake, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at her home in Sour Lake. She was born on January 17,1924, to Mae Kelly Parish and Claude Ernest Parish, in Oakdale, Louisiana.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Adam Kattawar, of Pinewood; daughter, Judy Ann Sipperly and her husband, David, of Spring Branch; sister, Claudie Palmer, of Silsbee; brother, James David Parish and his wife, Barbara, of Houston; grandchildren, Jason Sipperly and his wife, Cyndi, of Katy; William Sipperly and his wife, Traci, of Pensacola, Florida; Syrus Sipperly, of Hong Kong, China; Chad Kattawar, of Galveston; Aaron Kattawar, of Bedford; great-grandchildren, Cooper Sipperly, Max Sipperly, Victoria Sipperly, Nicholas Sipperly, Alexander Sipperly, Elizabeth Sipperly, and Ava Yvonne Kattawar.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Adam Kattawar.

Mrs. Kattawar’s funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont, with her entombment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
