Nancy Ganger

Nancy Dorneman Ganger, 88, of Groves, died Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born July 20, 1930, in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Nancy was a member of the Wesley Sunday School class and United Methodist Women at her church, First United Methodist Church, Port Neches. She will be remembered for her love of reading, especially her daily devotional and crocheting, watching golf and tennis on the television, as well as, her love of the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Glick and husband, Leonard; Janet Collins and her husband, David; and Carol Loupe; grandsons, David Satcher and his wife, Alicia; Tim Satcher and his wife, Shelly; Chris Loupe and his wife, Ashley; Corey Loupe and his wife, Martha; Scott Collins and his wife, Amber; and Eric Collins and his wife, Brooke; fourteen great-grandchildren; dear friend, Janet Sanders; and brother, Hank Altemus and his wife, Peggy.

A gathering of Ms. Ganger’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at First United Methodist Church, 1826 Nall Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
